Yoga is far more than what it is made out to be. Yoga is like the trunk of a tree with deep roots while meditation is merely one of the eight branches which makes it so powerful.
Too many people focus on one area of their body but fail to look at the rest. We are a trip-art being. Mind, body, and spirit.
So, if you take care of your body, and mind, but forget about your soul, then you will have a sense of being un-grounded in life.
This will leave you wondering aimlessly through your life with no sense of direction.
Too many of you may be focused on the wrong things in your life leaving you disconnected and not passionate about your path. This is caused by you letting the wrong influential people dictate how you SHOULD be living your life.
You are told to go to college, get a good job, and life will be just peachy. But is your life really that great?
When you were younger, you had big dreams and goals, but as you got older the light inside you slowly faded away.
There is a good chance you are going against your soul’s purpose in life and learning yogic meditation is the link to it all.
So many people focus on what the see and feel in their outer world they forget the most important part which comes from within.
What you must realize is yoga is the foundation to mediation and was designed to strengthen your practice.
Follow these tips for getting you back on track and finding your passion for life again.
Yogic Meditation Strengthens Your Focus
Whatever you focus on will be drawn into your life. Too many of you are focused on what you don’t want instead of what you do want.
You must have a vision on how you want your future to look like. Because what you focus on is where your energy will be flowing.
The more you focus on the problem, the more it keeps on surfacing.
Your vision must be backed with emotion giving it strength.
This vivid picture of how your heart desires your future to look like.
If you do not have emotional stake in your path, then you are more likely to quit and fall back to your old patterns and habits.
Every time you meditate you strengthen your focus. Too many people have no focus or willpower to make their life better. They make a resolution which only lasts a couple of weeks.
But yogic meditation is no resolution. You must stick with your routine and strengthen your focus.
Each time you sit down and meditate you are conditioning your mind, body, and spirit to become one.
Yogic Meditation Renews Your Mind
As a beginner, in order to have the best yogic meditation routine, you must understand how your minds work.
There is the conscious mind which is the tip of the iceberg, and there is the subconscious mind which is the larger portion beneath the surface.
Your subconscious mind is constantly firing over 40 million neural connections every second.
This mind never sleeps and records every nanosecond of your life storing into its data bank.
This mind is habitual and does not comprehend emotions.
Your actions and habits are a result of your current program from your subconscious mind.
This can be a result of many things. One of the worst habits is stress. Many of you don’t realize this but your mind will find just about anything and everything to stress about.
Because the one time turned into another time and so on. The subconscious mind stored this input and followed these patterns.
Every time you get stressed out, your body releases toxic chemicals such as adrenaline and cortisol which flood your body through your circulatory system.
Your subconscious mind becomes used to this reaction and continues to flood your body every time you experience any obstacles. It just automatically floods your body with these bad neural chemicals.
But what many people don’t realize is our conscious mind is a gift from God. This mind is very slow, but it is creative and was designed to be the master over the subconscious mind.
In order to take your life back you must learn how to plant new seeds into the garden of the subconscious mind and break the habit of dumping toxins into your body.
By doing this you are biohacking your nervous system and changing your program. I know it sounds kind of far-fetched. But it is the truth.
Science and psychology dives into this very deep, but it’s not talked about as much as it should be.
The studies of epigenetics states that our environment changes can change our genetic code a rewrite a new one.
You can change your old limiting program which your subconscious believes to be true. Every time you meditate you shed layers of your past. This practice opens the gates of your mind, giving you a direct link to the garden of the subconscious.
This is when you plant a seed through autosuggestion.

Yoga is Being Mindful
There is mind full and then there is mindful. Having your mind full of garbage is different than being mindful of the garbage in your head.
If you truly desire to learn the best type meditation, you must study the ancient practice of yoga and learn how to become more mindful.
Your subconscious mind is like a garden and it needs to be watered and tended to. The weeds (negative thoughts) must be pulled out while planting new seeds of positivity.
You must stand guard at the gates of your subconscious mind not letting any thoughts pass without you being mindful of them.
When you are present you become more mindful of your bad habits in life. Not very many of you fully understand what it is to be present.
A great example I like to use it driving your car. Have you ever gone on a long trip and when you arrive you don’t remember any of the trip?
Your subconscious mind has been trained on how to drive and you gave it an intention on where to go. So, while you were thinking about other things, the subconscious mind was on autopilot taking you to your destination.
But this mind doesn’t always know the difference between right and wrong.
So, as amazing as it is, it needs instructions, or it will give you a bunch of garbage.
When you become mindful, you will start noticing your bad habits and steer yourself into a new direction.
A great way to practice being mindful is by doing any task at hand with all your attention. Take doing the dishes for example. When you are doing the dishes, focus on doing the dishes. If you start daydreaming about other things just bring your attention back to the task at hand.
The same goes for any conversation you have. Don’t tell me you never drifted off thinking about anything other than what the person is talking about.
Give this person your undivided attention and strengthen your focus. This is the yogic way.
Yoga is Your Foundation
Building a strong yoga foundation should be priority. Yogic meditation isn’t just about sitting in silence.
It’s about studying and learning the whole practice.
It’s about how you take this knowledge and focus into the real world. There is so much to this ancient practice which has so many rewards in the end.
Study your mind and learn how it works.
Start being mindful throughout your day.
Strengthen yourself by flowing through yoga asanas.
Start taking better care of you whole body.
Most importantly, meditate day and night and strengthen your foundation to having a healthier and more blissful life.
